Prince Harry's wife Meghan Markle had her expensive designer dress torn. This happened during the Duchess of Sussex's visit to the Children's Hospital in Los Angeles.

The incident did not go unnoticed by fans of the royal family, who found something to say, writes the Daily Express.

Meghan Markle's designer dress sold out

Markle wore a chiffon Landscape dress from Oscar de la Renta to a meeting with young patients at a children's hospital, which she had already worn before. The cost of a branded dress is 2.7 thousand pounds sterling (133 thousand UAH). Underneath it, the Duchess wore a pair of pointy black heels from Aquazurra for £595 (almost 30 thousand UAH).

Her look was complemented by a gold Tank Française watch from Cartier for more than 25 thousand pounds sterling (1.2 million UAH) and an Ariel Gordon diamond bracelet for 4.3 thousand pounds sterling (2.1 million UAH).

The reaction of fans of the royal family to the incident with the dress

However, the high cost of the wardrobe did not save Meghan Markle from embarrassment. Her dress appears to have cracked on the left side near the waist. Therefore, fans of the royal family hastened to comment on what they saw in the photo.

  • Seriously? Oh, how embarrassing.
  • I — not a fan of M's behavior, but I think it's more of a zipper issue than a hole. Perhaps she didn't notice that the zipper wasn't fastened all the way, or it came apart.
  • No, didn't she check the dress before putting it on? A needle and thread could have fixed it.
  • The dress came apart at the seam.
  • Oh my God!  — users X (formerly Twitter) comment on the photo.

During the visit, Meghan Markle read three of her favorite children's books to the children — Rosie the Riveter, Pete the Cat and I Saw a Cat. The Duchess of Sussex visited the hospital to conduct a fundraising campaign that brings together business and the public to support the children's medical facility.
