The phone will work twice faster: just turn off these features

Activating certain features on your phone can significantly slow down your data download speed. Therefore, it will be advisable to disable certain options. By the way, it doesn't hurt to reduce the brightness on the phone for this.

One of the functions that often interferes with us is automatic updates. They usually appear at an unfortunate moment: when we are talking to someone or doing something important. These updates take up a lot of space and consume a lot of data.

What other features should you turn off

  1. Different apps have access to your geolocation data. Besides being an invasion of your personal space, it also drains your battery faster. If you do not need to know information related to your location right now, then it is better to limit this feature.
  2. Push notifications inform us about certain updates. When there are too many of them, it distracts and reduces the performance of the smartphone. Then push notifications should be turned off.
  3. Applications collect information about what you do on your device. This is necessary to optimize the content for your needs, but on the other hand — thus losing privacy and draining the phone faster.
  4. Always on has the advantage of showing us the time, date and other information on the lock screen. This happens even when the device is in standby mode. However, due to the active use of this function, the battery life may become shorter.
  5. Smartphones usually have baskets of programs that are immediately built into the functionality. Often there are such applications that we do not need. It is better to delete those that you do not use. Then the device will work faster, and you will also clear the memory.
