What is the situation at the “Olenya” airfield
New satellite images from May 24, 2024 show that there are dozens of enemy aircraft at the “Olenya” airfield in the Murmansk region strategic aircraft. In particular, as of Friday morning, the following were stationed at the air base:
- 10 strategic bombers Tu-95MS,
- 38 bombers Tu-22M3, of which only actively used 10 for training and combat sorties,
- 3 An-12 military transport aircraft.

There are no significant changes in the number of aircraft at the air base, but the pictures show that at least 8 aircraft are equipped with missiles. Thus, Kh-101 cruise missiles were installed on 4 sides of the Tu-95MS, and 4 sides of the Tu-22M3 were equipped with Kh-22 missiles.
At the same time, the sides of the Tu-95MS decreased at the “Olenya” base. According to the network, strategic bombers could be redeployed to the Far East.
