First, charge from an outlet, not from a computer or power bank. The smartphone receives more current from the outlet. Also, use the cable that came with your phone or the same capacity for charging. The cable that came with the headphones, for example, charges more slowly.
Second, don't talk on the phone while charging and turn off all games and other apps. They use the phone's power while charging, so the process will be slower.
Turn on airplane mode, or even better – turn off your smartphone. So it will not use the charge.
Check if your smartphone supports fast charging. Sometimes it is disabled, and the user simply does not know about its existence.
