The United States will not participate in military offensive operations against Iran, President Joe Biden said in a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

CNN reports this with reference to an American official.< /p>

Biden told Netanyahu that Iranian attacks on Israel were unsuccessful and demonstrated Israel's superior military capabilities.

The US estimates that almost all drones and missiles, including more than 100 ballistic missiles launched by Iran, were shot down in the sky. Not a single cruise missile hit the target, the American official noted.

Biden will meet with G7 leaders

US President Joe Biden will meet today with the leaders of the G7 countries to coordinate a unified diplomatic response to Iran's attack on Israel.

— My team will interact with their colleagues across the region. And we will remain in close contact with Israeli leaders— Biden said in a statement published on the White House website.

Earlier this week, American defense assets were deployed to the region, which helped Israel shoot down almost all the drones and missiles.

According to Biden , Israel has demonstrated an amazing ability to defend itself and defeat even unprecedented attacks, sending a clear signal to its enemies that they cannot effectively threaten Israel.

BAGNET recalls, on the evening of April 13, the Israel Defense Forces reported that Iran launched kamikaze drones from its territory into Israel. The IDF subsequently reported that Iran had fired approximately 300 drones and missiles. Air defenses destroyed 99% of all enemy targets.
