Ukrainian boxer Denys Berinchyk turned on the sound of an air raid siren during a press conference dedicated to the evening of boxing in San Diego (USA) on May 18. It is this sound that Ukrainians hear every day.

On the night of May 19, Denys Berinchyk will fight for the WBO lightweight belt against Mexican boxer Emanuel Navarrete. This is reported by the publication Fakty.

When Denys was given the floor during the press conference, he greeted those present and said that before speaking, he wanted them to hear something. Then he turned on the sound of the siren on the phone.

My country wakes up with this sound, has lived for more than 2 years – every day, every second. This sound means that Russia is taking someone's life or destroying something – every day, many times. However, our defenders continue to do their job day by day, minute by minute, – said Denys.

The boxer added that, first of all, he wants to thank the Ukrainian soldiers. After all, according to him, it was thanks to them that Berinchyk was able to prepare and arrive at the battle.

Finally, I want to appeal to the whole world, to everyone who sees and hears us – Stand with Ukraine – Berinchyk said.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian will fight against the Mexican Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO lightweight belt.
