Director Tanya Muinho led the team that worked on the creation of a new music video for the British pop star Dua Lipa for the song “Illusion”. The clip is already available online.

Singer Dua Lipa has released a new music video for the song “Illusion”. It was seen by almost 2 million viewers in 17 hours.

Filming took place in Barcelona. An interesting location was chosen for “Illusion” – the swimming pool where the diving competition was held at the 1992 Summer Olympics. It was there that the legendary video clip of Kylie Minogue “Slow” was previously created.

The clip is filled with bright dance numbers, exciting synchronized swimming tricks and underwater diving. In the clip, Dua Lipa appears in stylish summer outfits.

My dream is real! That's right! Dua, thank you for your trust. Your music always inspires me. It was fantastic working with you creating Illusion through water, air and dance! Love! – commented on Tanya Muinho's new work and filming process.

“Illusion” is the third single from the singer's upcoming album Radical Optimism, which is scheduled for release on May 3, 2024.

Dua Lipa describes her album Radical Optimism as full of optimism and inspiration, combining the chaotic moments of modern times with a desire for sincerity and frankness. The song Illusion itself reveals the idea of confidence in one's actions despite the attempts of others to mislead the heroine, symbolizing ignoring illusions.

For Ukrainian director Tanya Munyo, this is the second work since the beginning of the year. In January, Jennifer Lopez's video “Can't Get Enough” was released, on which Muño worked. Last October, she shot the music video “TK421” for Lenny Kravitz, and in September – the music video for American rapper Cardi B's song “Bongos”.
