Ukrainian cuisine is rich in delicious and incredible dishes. However, modern chefs like to diversify recipes to their taste.

Ukrainian chef and restaurateur Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi prepared banoche with buckwheat this time. He posted a video with the recipe on Instagram.

I decided to mix two of my favorite Ukrainian products – corn and buckwheat – at Banosh and the result was very tasty, – writes Yaroslavskyi.

Ingredients:

– 75g of ground corn
– 75g of ground buckwheat
– 950g of milk
– 120g of 30% cream or 180g of sour cream
– 40g of butter
– salt
– cheese
– stewed cheeks
– oil
– nuts< /p>

Method of preparation:

1. We bring the milk to a boil, and with a thin stream, constantly stirring with a spatula, we introduce first the corn, and then the buckwheat.

2. Add salt and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Cook while stirring for about 5-7 minutes.

3. At the end, add sour cream, if you want a more sour taste, or cream, if you want a creamier and sweeter taste, and a piece of butter!
