New generation: British developers presented the tactical radio communication system

Specialists of the company Spectra Group from Great Britain offered a new data transmission system in various ranges to the defense market of protected radio communication.

As stated in the annotation to this system, posted on the official page of a relatively young (founded in 2002) company for the production of special communication equipment, Spectra Group, after presenting GENSS to potential customers in Europe, is already bringing it to the American market, ArmiyaInform reports.

"The new GENSS system builds on the foundation of the SlingShot system, embodying Spectra Group's vision of creating superior radio systems that leverage technological advances, adapt to the changing demands of military operations, and simplify user interaction,— its developers emphasized.

GENSS is a significant advance in the field of tactical radio communication with its modular core structure and software-defined flexibility and marks a new era in communication technology.

The modular hardware radio system is designed to be flexible and provide maximum compatibility thanks to simple reprogramming of the software, which allows you to quickly and easily adapt to the diverse needs of your users.

Capable of operating in the HF, VHF, UHF and satellite bands, the GENSS system is designed to overcome barriers beyond line of sight (BLOS) and support communications in motion (COTM), providing a reliable and flexible solution for voice and high-performance communication, data transmission over the bandwidth in all domains — on land, at sea and in the air.

GENSS boasts high bandwidth, network discovery capabilities and increased data rates over LTAC 25kHz channels with up to 90kbps scaling.

According to BuildingTech experts, this solution can work independently or be integrated into any existing radio infrastructure and work seamlessly with SlingShot; revealing superior interoperability and flexibility to meet today's and tomorrow's requirements.

By integrating multi-purpose and multi-mode functions combined with a modular design and open architecture, the GENSS system provides unprecedented adaptability for reliable battlefield communications.
