Ukrainian chef and restaurateur Yevhen Klopotenko together with his journalist friend Emma Antonyuk present a new interesting recipe to subscribers. Poppy seeds will taste perfect as a dessert.

The recipe is taken from an ancient book by the most famous Ukrainian cook – Daria Tsvek. So watch videos on YouTube and cook an incredibly delicious dish.

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 750 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 100 g sugar
  • 20 g yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • Vanillin

For the filling:

  • 500 g of poppy seeds
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 3 egg whites (one of them is for greasing)
  • 2 tbsp. semolina
  • 3 tbsp. rose jam
  • Vanillin
