Chronic stress, fear and uncertainty today become the breeding ground for anxiety, depression and other psychological problems. In such conditions, it is more important than ever not to lose touch with dreams.

It is our dreams that give us the strength to go on. This is stated on the Psychological Support platform.

From the point of view of psychology, dreams perform a number of important functions:

Motivate and inspire

When we clearly visualize what we want, it empowers us to take action, overcome obstacles, and move toward our goal.

Expand Consciousness

Dreams help us go beyond the ordinary, imagine new possibilities.

Increase resilience

Faith to a better future gives us the resources to overcome difficulties and adapt to difficult conditions.

Strengthens mental health

Dreams have a therapeutic effect, because they allow us to focus on the positive and distract from problems.

It is important to note that not all dreams equally useful. Vague, unrealistic, or negative dreams can have unwanted effects on our lives. Therefore, if it is difficult for you to say what your dream is, try the following exercise:

1. Open your journal or take a piece of paper.

2. Take some time to meditate, focus on your feelings and thoughts.

3. Give yourself honest answers to the following questions:

  • What am I good at and what can I do well?
  • What are my strengths and qualities?
  • < li>What do I want to do?

  • How do I see myself in the future?< /li>
  • What do I lack to achieve my goal?

Don't be afraid to dream. The more clearly you imagine your desires, the easier it will be to make them come true:

  • Create a “dream board”. strong> On it you can place pictures, photos and phrases that visualize your desires.
  • Start a dream journal where you will write down your dreams , plans and ideas. Write in as much detail as possible. Imagine, for example, how you will feel when you reach them. Re-read your entries regularly to keep yourself motivated.
  • And finally, take the first step towards making your dream come true. Don't wait for everything to be perfect. Start now. And don't be afraid of mistakes, because they – this is part of the path to success.

Remember, dreams – not just fiction, but a powerful development tool. Believe in yourself and your abilities, this will help you overcome any difficulties and build a new happy future.
