At the “Kyiv Half Marathon of Indomitability”, Poltava rescuer Andriy Grechany dedicated his race to three fallen colleagues from Kharkiv. He held their portraits throughout the distance.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports this on Facebook.

On April 14, a large-scale charity race “Kyiv Half Marathon” took place in the capital Invincibility”. It united more than a thousand running enthusiasts from different parts of Ukraine and the world. It was there that the Poltava rescuer decided to remind the world about his dead colleagues.

During the race, Andriy Grechany held in his hands the portraits of Vladyslav Loginov, Volodymyr Matyushenka, and Serhiy Baidalinov, who were killed during the double strike of the Russian Federation on April 4.

Andriy Grechany overcame a distance of 21 km in the equipment of a firefighter. He dedicated his race to Kharkiv rescuers who died as a result of repeated enemy fire. They gave their lives to save the lives of others, – they write on the website of the State Emergency Service.

The race was organized to support Ukrainian combat medics – to raise funds for the Medical Volunteer Battalion “Hospitaliers”.
