Britain and France helped shoot down missiles that were flying towards Israel

British and French militaries together with the United States helped Israel repel a massive air strike by Iran and pro-Iranian forces in neighboring countries on the night of April 14, CNN writes, citing the words of Israel Defense Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari.

"We work closely with the United States and Britain and France, who joined tonight. Our partnership has always been close, but today it manifested itself in a very unusual way,” – Hagari said. He did not provide details about their participation.

In addition, The Times of Israel notes that Jordan also helped shoot down Iranian drones, despite the fact that it harshly criticized Israel for its methods of operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The official statement explained that the interception of targets in their airspace was carried out “for the safety of their citizens.”

US President Joe Biden publicly said that US forces in the region helped shoot down some of the drones and unmanned aerial vehicles launched by Iran for targets on Israeli territory.
