Putin's ally Peter Pellegrini won the Slovaccine presidential election

The new president of Slovakia based on the results of the vote-sharing of 100% of the electors, elected the speaker of the National Parliament of Slovakia and the leader of the ruling party "Voice – Social Democracy' I” Peter Pellegrini.

Data published on the website of the Statistical Office of Slovakia. The official results will be announced after the confirmation of the elections by the State Commission.

In the other round, Peter Pellegrini took away 53.12% of the voters. 46.87% voted for his opponent – representative of the liberal opposition Ivan Korchka. The voter turnout was 61.14%, or 2,671,279 Slovak citizens. The first round was led by Korchok.

Peter Pellegrina is 48 years old. From 2018 to 2020, the fate of the Prime Minister of Slovakia took over. In 2020, Mr. Pellegrini created and founded the “Voice – Social Democracy” party, which will form part of a grassroots coalition. In the year 2023, I will become the head of the National Party for the sake of Slovakia. Pellegrini, like the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, opposes the continuation of the military support of Ukraine.
