Forbes billionaire ranking: Taylor Swift became one of the richest people in the world for the first time

This year, the American singer Taylor Swift joined the ranking of the richest people in the world. It is worth noting that she achieved such success only through her creativity.

As noted by Forbes, Taylor Swift became a billionaire last October thanks to her Eras world tour. It became the first concert series in history to collect more than $1 billion in ticket sales.

According to the publication, the singer's profit from Eras after taxes amounted to $190 million. In addition to income from the tour, Taylor Swift's wealth consists of a music catalog and a real estate portfolio. In total, her fortune is estimated at $1.1 billion.

Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy CEO Bernard Arnault and his family topped the list of the richest people on the planet with $233 billion.

As of 2024, there are 2,781 billionaires in the world. Their total wealth is$14.2 trillion. Last year 265 people became billionaires. For comparison: in 2023, 150 newcomers joined the list.
