According to a new leak, Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is likely to be unveiled on June 24. This discovery, courtesy of X (formerly Twitter) source MysteryLupin, comes just weeks before the launch of the Galaxy Watch 7/X series. Interestingly, the watch was recently leaked on the Amazon page when it was prematurely listed.
The watch is expected to cost €199 at launch
«FE» stands for Fan Edition, a special line of products that Samsung offers for its fans. This is the first time that Samsung has released an FE version for the Galaxy Watch line. Previous leaks suggest that the Galaxy Watch FE will come in three color options: black, silver, and rose gold, all priced at €199 (roughly RMB 1,565, or $215).
The Galaxy Watch is expected to The FE will be an entry-level wearable, but is rumored to borrow heavily from the existing Galaxy Watch 4, potentially including a cellular version. The watch is expected to feature a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 396 x 396 pixels. Under the hood, it might have a 1.18GHz Exynos W920 dual-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Battery life is expected to be around 30 hours thanks to the 247mAh battery. The software side is said to be handled by Samsung One UI Watch 5.0 based on Wear OS. In terms of sensors, the Galaxy Watch FE can be equipped with an accelerometer, barometer, bioimpedance analyzer, ECG sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, brightness sensor and heart rate sensor (optical).
