The academic year 2023-2024, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, lasts from September 1, 2023 to June 28, 2024. At the same time, local authorities and educational institutions can determine the date of completion of classes independently. We tell you when the last bell will ring in the regions.
When is the last bell in Ukraine
Pay attention! Mostly in Ukraine, the last bell will ring on 31 May But there are certain regions where it can take place on another day.
In Kyiv and the regionthe academic year ends on May 31. On this day, the last bells will be held in educational institutions. At the same time, in some communities of the Kyiv region, education for schoolchildren will end by June 7 and 14. In fact, in June they plan to hold additional classes for students of grades 1-10, and there will also be trainings on life safety, mine safety and tactical medicine.
And here in Volyn is a vacation for schoolchildren. will last from June 1 to August 31. Therefore, the last call is May 31.
In Zhytomyr Oblastmost educational institutions will hold the last call on May 31. At the same time, the certification of students and classes can continue until June 28 in schools to make up for lost time.
But most Lviv schools will go on summer vacation from June 1 to 10. Meanwhile, some educational institutions in Lviv will end their studies on June 17. And the vacation itself will last until the end of the summer.
School year in Vinnytsiawill mostly end on May 31. Meanwhile, additional classes and consultations are planned to be held in schools in June. Students will rest until the end of August.
Meanwhile, summer vacations will begin on June 1 in 37 communities of the Poltava region. But in 15 communities – on June 3, in five – on May 31, and in one – on June 7.
Education in Odesa will end on May 30.
In the Kirovohrad region363 educational institutions will complete their studies on May 30-31. And in 69 schools of the region, the last bell will ring from June 5 to 12, and in two private educational institutions – on June 28.
The majority of students in Ivano-Frankivsk will study until June 7. and the vacation will start from June 10. But there are also those educational institutions where the last bell will ring on May 31. Meanwhile, the vacation will last until August 31 throughout the city.
< In the Chernivtsi region, 336 schools will go on summer vacation between May 30 and June 10. Graduates will receive their certificates of general secondary education on June 21-29. Meanwhile, in Khmelnytskyi the last bell will ring on May 31. In the region, there is no need for schools to continue the educational process in June.
Cherkasy students will go to the last bell on May 31, and they will rest until the end of the summer.
However, in Mykolaiv and the Mykolaiv region the holidays will start in June. However, the Department of Education notes that they do not have schedules yet. The last bells are scheduled for May 31. But at the same time, additional lessons and consultations can also be held in schools in June.
In Rivne training will end on May 31. Students will go on summer vacation from June 1.
Also from June 1, the summer vacation will begin for Dnipro schoolchildren. At the same time, 11th grade students can have classes on preparation for the NMT in June.

In Transcarpathia, most schools will hold the last bell on May 31. Training in the region will not continue in June.
