Olexandr Usyk, the absolute heavyweight world champion of Ukraine, after his victory over the British Tyson Fury, became the best boxer on the planet regardless of weight category (P4P) according to The Ring magazine.
Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk beat Japanese Naoya Inoue and American Terence Crawford. In the latest ranking from an authoritative publication, the athlete rose from third place to the top.
Let us remind you that on the night of May 19, Usyk defeated Fury by a split decision of the judges – 115-112, 114-113 and 113-114. Thus, Alexander defended the WBO, WBA, IBO and IBF belts, and also took the WBC title from the “Gypsy King”. Usyk became the first absolute world champion in the heavyweight division in the 21st century.
