Rutte to be officially named NATO's next secretary general on June 26, – ZMI

Already on Wednesday, June 26, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte will be announced as the new Secretary General of NATO. He will enter the planting in October. Barron's reports this.

As the publication reports, unnamed diplomats said that Rutte will be named secretary general after all 32 member countries of the Alliance give the “green light” for such a designation.

At the same time, diplomats clarified that Rutte will replace current NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg after his term ends on October 1.
