The United States does not rule out that Iran is cooperating with North Korea as part of the continued escalation in the Middle East.

There is no direct evidence of this yet, but Washington is closely monitoring possible cooperation between Pyongyang and Tehran.

This was stated by US Defense Department spokesman General Patrick Ryder, Ukrinform reports.

— I have not yet seen anything that would indicate that cooperation between Iran and the DPRK exists. However, the United States will continue to closely monitor this, he stressed.
