Ukraine already has drones with a range of 2,500 km: the expert said whether they will replace missiles (video)

Ukraine will soon receive combat drones with a range of over 2,000 kilometers . By the end of the year, 10 manufacturers will supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with drones with a range of up to 2,500 km. And the Promin design bureau in Kyiv has developed the Sokil-3000 drone, which can fly up to 3,300 km.

New Ukrainian weapons will be able to attack targets, for example, in the Murmansk region. About 80 military bases are located there. In particular, the “Olenya” airfield, where Russia's strategic bombers are based.

The deputy general director of the company for the production of radio electronic warfare equipment, aviation expert Anatoliy Khrapchynskyi told about this on the air of the national telethon “Yedini Novyni”.

“This year, the use of UAVs on the territory of the Russian Federation began quite actively, and the distances have increased significantly. If we are talking, for example, about a strike on a city where “shahedis” are gathering, it is more than 1,300 kilometers…

Such the results show the Russians that any strategic object on the territory of the Russian Federation, at a distance of 1,200-1,300 km, can be destroyed by Ukrainian UAVs. And it is necessary to advance further, because the same “Olenya”, which is located 2 thousand km, it is there that the largest number of Tu-95 aircraft are located, from which missiles are fired at Ukraine. They were redeployed after the last year's strikes on Engels…

There are our drones that already work for 2.5 thousand km, can be in the air for 30 hours. It should not be forgotten that in order to lay a route for these drones, it was necessary to conduct a certain reconnaissance, therefore, most likely, reconnaissance drones were used to lay the route, in order to then accurately hit such important objects…

In this case, we can increase the size of the drones, thereby increasing both the flight range and the payload. We already have jet-powered drones that can carry more than 400 kg of explosives for 500 km.

Priority targets are any airfield with tactical or strategic aviation. Because we see how tactical aviation destroys the territory of Ukraine, dropping winged bombs, and the front-line zone. And they bombard Kharkiv with aerial bombs. Therefore, these are airfields of tactical aviation, these are airfields of strategic aviation, well, they have already gone to factories and plants that produce missiles.

For example, “Raduga”, which produces the X-101/X-555 missile, X -49, “Arsenal 53” – those who produce KABs. At a distance of up to two thousand kilometers, most of the strategically important objects of the Russian Federation are located.

And at the expense of such strikes, the enemy will pull his aircraft or something else away from the borders of Ukraine, because he will understand that he will be under constant fire. This will increase the logistical burden and cause significant damage to the ability of the Russians to conduct hostilities,” said Anatoly Khrapchynskyi.
