Be careful, fraudsters do not sleep and are actively inventing new ways of accessing the data of Internet users.

Therefore, the company "Kyivstar" warns its customers about the phishing method popular among criminals. a method of obtaining personal data by deception, when users, unaware of the threat, enter their data on specially created sites. In this way, fraudsters can get logins and passwords, as well as other confidential information.

«If you receive a message or letter from a well-known company, store, bank or social institution with an offer to follow a link , this can be one of the methods of phishing, – Kyivstar noted.

They also published a number of simple rules that will help save personal data:

• check information about surveys, draws, payouts, etc., on the company's official website or official communication channels;
• pay attention to the link – the difference in one letter can be decisive;
• check the names and titles in the letters and SMS you receive, phishers often make mistakes;
• ignore emails and messages asking for personal information.
