Tusk and Scholz will join forces to win the war

The German Chancellor went on a visit to Warsaw and there announced the deepening of cooperation between the countries in the context of supporting Ukraine, RMF24 reports.

Scholz assured that Berlin and Warsaw will develop cooperation in the field of security and defense.

“We want to take on the role of leader in the Baltic region within NATO and in protecting the eastern flank,” the politician noted.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin has destroyed the peaceful order in Europe and threatens security on the continent.

“We stand side by side with Ukraine and Ukrainians in their tireless fight against Russia's imperialist war,” the German Chancellor said.

He recalled that Poland and Germany are the countries that provide the greatest support to Ukraine politically, militarily and in terms of accepting refugees from this country.

“We will cooperate even more closely in supporting Ukraine, as well as accompany Ukraine on its path to the EU,” the official emphasized.

The head of the German government emphasized that “our common responsibility also concerns Europe.”

“Our common goal is to ensure that the expansion of the EU to more members soon becomes a reality. Montenegro, Moldova and Ukraine have made significant progress in this context,” he added.
