Turkey exports military products to 185 countries – Erdogan

Turkey exports military equipment products to 185 countries, UAVs worth 1.8 billion US dollars were exported last year.

This was announced by the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan after the government meeting on Tuesday evening, Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The number of countries to which we export military equipment products has increased to 185. The range of exported products has reached 230 units. Since 2012, contracts have been concluded for the sale of 770 UAVs to 50 countries, UAV exports will reach $1.8 billion in 2023, and high-quality light weapons and pistols are being exported to more than 110 countries,” Erdogan said.

For according to the president of Turkey, the results achieved today are the result of projects started 10-15 years ago, the country will continue to “fight until we achieve the goal of full independence in the defense industry”.
