Maxim was born with a body weight of 960 grams and a height of 36 centimeters. A boy was discharged from the Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center.
The boy's condition was described as serious. In particular, the baby spent 60 days in the hospital. This was reported in the Lviv Perinatal Center.
The boy's mother had been in the hospital since the 25th week, doctors were doing everything to prolong the pregnancy. However, at the 28th week, according to urgent indications, the woman underwent a cesarean section.
In the operating room, doctors performed resuscitation measures to stabilize the child's condition. From the operating room, the baby was urgently hospitalized in the conditions of a transport incubator with a thermal chain, providing mechanical ventilation of the lungs, to the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of newborns, the doctors explained.

The boy was connected to a ventilator. The dynamics of the child's condition were monitored by related specialists: a pediatric neurologist, an ophthalmologist, and a rehabilitation specialist.
The baby first received donor milk, but after a few days, mother's milk. By the way, the child's mother herself became a donor to our breast milk bank, the hospital said.
On the 45th day, Maksym was transferred to stay with his mother. And on the 60th, he was discharged home with a body weight of 2,300 grams and a height of 40 centimeters. In the future, the boy will be monitored by a pediatrician.
