The brigade flags of the 3rd separate assault brigade (3rd OShBr) of the Ground Forces of Ukraine were raised at the Antarctic station “Akademik Vernadskyi”.
This is stated in a post of the 3rd OShBr on Facebook.
Fighters of the Third Separate Assault Brigade have the fame of fearless warriors who distinguished themselves in the battles near Kyiv in the spring of 2022, and then practically on in all the most difficult areas of the front.
The brigade also conducts its successful recruiting campaign – they accept motivated people into their ranks. Well-known figures express their support for the Third Assault. And the other day, scientists working at the Ukrainian Antarctic station “Akademik Vernadskyi” raised the flags of the brigade.
And while our scientists work for the development of Ukrainian science, we continue to work in order to destroy the enemy, the brigade emphasizes.
By the way, so far more than 20 polar explorers have joined ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defend our state with weapons in their hands in various units. Scientists support their “war penguins” in every possible way, collect funds for various necessary “gadgets”.
