Ukrainian artists MONATIK, ROXOLANA, Michel Andrade and Positiff performed in front of the military and medical staff of the Kyiv RECOVERY center on the occasion of its first anniversary.

The center started work at the end of May 2023 th, and already in October, a second branch was opened here. This is stated on the RECOVERY page.

In Kyiv RECOVERY, 50 defenders of Ukraine can receive free medical rehabilitation services at the same time. On the center's birthday, both patients who have already completed recovery and military personnel who are currently undergoing rehabilitation gathered.

Speaking before our defenders is a great responsibility. Every time I want to see the smile of each of them, because I understand that it can be difficult for them. During rehabilitation, our defenders recover not only physically, but also psychologically – this process is an extremely important stage that helps them return to everyday life and find inner peace. Supporting our boys and girls during recovery is an extremely important task for us, as for society, – said MONATIK.

In their free time from training, the team of the RECOVERY network arranges movie screenings and meetings with well-known public figures in the Kyiv center figures, politicians, stars of culture and sports. During the year of its existence, Boris Johnson, Timothy Snyder, Andriy Shevchenko, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Jamala have visited the center.

The strongest people of Ukraine are recovering in the Kyiv center. The stories of the lives of our Dima, Oli, Sasha, Rostyk… This is a textbook through which the courage and freedom-loving Ukrainians are sewn with a red thread. Gathering a year after the opening is a symbolic opportunity to remember what we went through together with the center's team and the military during this time. I am extremely glad that former patients came to us today, even from other cities. Such meetings only give strength to move forward, said Svitlana Hrytsenko, head of the all-Ukrainian RECOVERY project.

RECOVERY is a national network of rehabilitation centers for wounded soldiers. The project was founded by Viktor and Olena Pinchuka to help the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. Today, 12 RECOVERY rehabilitation centers provide free services in Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Cherkassy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Odesa (two facilities) and Dnipro region (three facilities). In total, more than 10,000 patients have already received rehabilitation assistance in the centers of the national network.
