Over the Black Sea, the Armed Forces shot down one of the most expensive Russian drones

Ukraine's defense forces shot down a Russian “Forpost” drone over the Black Sea, which can be called an analogue of the Turkish “Bayraktar”. It is worth almost $7 million. This was announced on the air of the national telethon “Yedini Novyni” by the spokesman of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilya Yevlash.

The Air Force has worked out a pretty good target today, such targets are rare in our country, however we still managed to shoot down one of the most expensive unmanned aerial attack vehicles of the “Forpost” type. This is a Russian UAV, its cost is approximately seven million dollars. It was shot down by the Odesa anti-aircraft missile brigade over the waters of the Black Sea.

“Forpost-M” is a fairly large attack and reconnaissance drone that can conduct reconnaissance and carry an additional combat load of 120 kg in in the form of two missiles or guided bombs KAB-50 to hit ground targets.

“Forpost-M” have been produced in Russia since 2015 under a license from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
