On June 14, almost a hundred defenders and medics attended a concert by the INSO-Lviv orchestra as part of the “The City Heals” program. A special musical program was prepared for the participants to help them in their rehabilitation.
This is already the second INSO-Lviv concert within the framework of the “The City Heals” program for military personnel undergoing rehabilitation in Lviv. This is stated on the website of the Lviv City Council.
The defender with the call sign “Daisy” is currently undergoing rehabilitation in one of the medical facilities in the Lviv Region. He has already attended more than a dozen concerts at the Lviv Philharmonic, because music eases his husband's pain.
For me, concerts at the Philharmonic really relieve phantom pains – that's the best thing. During the concert, the phantoms were blocked, which is very cool. Earlier in civilian life, I didn't like classical music at all, but now absolutely everything “comes in”. A lot of things that I didn't notice before in civilian life have now changed quite drastically, says the soldier.

For Oleksandr, this is already the fifth concert at the Lviv Philharmonic, which he attended during rehabilitation.
We are permanent fans of the Philharmonic, we thank the city for inviting us to such concerts. It's very nice. Of course, we were fond of classical music even before the war, we heard a lot, but the Lviv Philharmonic is incredible. There is a very good troupe here, a very cool concert, and we are already signed up for the next concerts of the program, says defender Oleksandr Solomyany.
The current concert at the Philharmonic is one of the final ones of the 25th anniversary season. It was initiated by the members of the orchestra themselves, after traveling with performances in medical facilities in Lviv and the region.

Since the beginning of 2023 within the framework of the “The City Heals” program, 32 events have been held for 288 military personnel and their relatives. In total, 795 participants used the program in a year and a half. The program is implemented by the Tourism Department of the Lviv City Council in cooperation with medical institutions in the Lviv community.
