On May 24, 2024, a new gastronomic record was set in Ukraine. To do this, they prepared the smallest portion of borscht with a volume of only 7 milliliters.

This tiny dish fit on two teaspoons. This was announced by the “Silpo” supermarket chain.

Microborscht was created by chef Mykola Ilyintogether with supermarket visitors. Experts of the National Register of Records of Ukraine officially recorded this record.

To give the borscht a rich taste, the chef prepared meat broth in advance, and also baked carrots and beets in the oven. The time to prepare the dish was approximately 30 minutes.
