In Germany there was an armed attack on a Ukrainian teenager, he almost died

In the city of Dortmund in western Germany, a 15-year-old boy from Ukraine was wounded with a knife.

Police report the attack. At the same time, the publication Bild writes that the victim is from Ukraine.

The event occurred on the evening of May 19, when Catholics and Protestants celebrated Trinity Day. It all started with a verbal altercation between two groups of teenagers, which escalated into a fight. During the conflict, a 15-year-old boy from Arnsberg, near Dortmund, was beaten and stabbed in the upper body, police said.

According to Bild, the victim — young Ukrainian refugee. Along with two friends, he started a conversation with two girls. Another group of young people did not like this and a fight broke out. One of them took out a knife and hit the Ukrainian first in the neck, and then stuck him in the upper body, journalists write.

Both the police and journalists emphasized that there was a risk that the guy would die. Now he is in the hospital and his life is no longer in danger.

The attackers managed to escape. The police are searching for the suspects.

In August 2023, in the city of Einbeck, a man attacked Ukrainian children demanding to speak Russian. And in February, 17-year-old basketball player Vladimir Ermakov was killed in Oberhausen. Subsequently, another basketball player Artem Kozachenko died in the hospital from his injuries. The suspects were detained. They wrote that they were a 15-year-old German-Turk and a 14-year-old German-Greek.

A few days after this, in Matman, a man attacked a 15-year-old Ukrainian, causing a severe head injury. Before this, he voiced xenophobic comments in his direction.

Let us recall that the Ukrainian writer Oksana Zabuzhko recently mentioned crimes against Ukrainian women in Germany: “…The Russian Vernichtungskrieg against us is global in nature, like Hitler against the Jews, – evidence of which is at least more than 3000 (in words, THREE THOUSAND!) registered attacks on Ukrainian women in 2022 in Berlin itself, which the German police refuses to investigate, – As long as Russia exists, we are NOT safe ANYWHERE…”

In Berlin, from the end of February 2022 to March 2023, 3,250 crimes against Ukrainians were registered. More often, Ukrainians become victims of thefts, attacks and fraud. As explained in the “Alliance of Ukrainian Organizations” Germany, a request to the police regarding attacks on Ukrainians in Berlin was made at their request by Berlin parliament member Katrin Walen from the Union 90/Greens party.

According to the report, most of the crimes against Ukrainians were committed in the historical areas of the German the capitals are Mitte (640) and Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (484). Most often these were theft (1294), bodily harm (704), fraud (301), threats (234) and insults (117). Police have identified suspects or likely perpetrators in only about 1,200 reported crimes. Most often this concerned bodily harm (575), threats (187) and insults (86).

The rate of detection of crimes against Ukrainians is very low, which may indicate the reluctance of the German police to expend effort on investigating cases against sympathizers of the Russians. .
