Dough leaves

Ingredients:

  • flour – half a glass;
  • water – 50 milliliters;
  • a pinch of salt.

Preparing dough leaves:

  1. Mix flour with water and a pinch of salt and knead a not very stiff dough.
  2. From the finished dough, you can make leaves.
  3. To do this, roll out the dough into a layer and squeeze three circles out of it with a glass.
  4. Sprinkle the surface of the circle well with flour and roll it lengthwise. Cut out the teeth of the leaf with scissors.
  5. Carefully unfold the leaf and open the teeth. Make veins on the leaf with a knife.
  6. The decorations can be placed on the Paska before baking, having previously greased the Paska with an egg. If you want colorful decorations, you can add food coloring to the dough.

Dough roses

Please note that dough roses are one of the simplest decorations that can be seen on Easter. Such flowers not only decorate Easter pastries, but also allow you to demonstrate the efforts and skill of the hostess and master.

  1. To make roses, you need to roll out the dough into a layer and cut out five circles.
  2. Place the circles one on top of the other and twist the roll.

Lark with dough

Ingredients:

  • water – 160 milliliters;
  • dry yeast – 3 grams;
  • salt – 0.5 teaspoons;
  • sugar – 2 tablespoons;
  • vegetable oil (plus a little for greasing) – 35 milliliters;
  • vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon;
  • wheat flour – 280 grams;
  • raisins – for decoration (3-4 pieces)

Cooking lark with dough:

  1. It is necessary to prepare all the ingredients and heat the water to 40°C. Sift the flour through a sieve into a wide bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the yeast, one teaspoon of sugar and add 50 milliliters of warm water. Mix everything well and leave for 12 minutes.
  3. Dissolve salt, sugar and vanilla sugar in warm water. Add activated yeast and mix well. Then add oil and mix again. Pour the sifted flour, but not all at once.
  4. First, mix everything with a spoon, add flour, mixing and controlling the consistency of the dough. It should be homogeneous and not stick to hands.
  5. Cover the bowl with the dough with cling film and leave it in a warm place to rise for 60-80 minutes. It should double in volume. Then divide the dough into parts, about 60 grams each. Form balls and cover them with a towel for 10 minutes.
  6. Make a bundle about 20 centimeters long from each ball of dough. Then wrap it in a knot. Form the lark's head, pull out the beak. Insert raisins as eyes. To form a tail, make incisions with a knife.
  7. Cover the bird with cling film for 15 minutes. Grease them with oil, bake the buns in an oven heated to 180°C for 20-25 minutes.

Please note that the dough for weaving should be made tighter than for Paska itself. More flour is added to it so that it does not spread during baking.
