Harris met with families of Americans held hostage by Hamas

US Vice President Kamala Harris met with the families of Americans taken hostage by Hamas on October 7 and assured them of the administration's support, reports &quot ;Voice America.

"The Vice President stressed that for President Biden and for her there is no higher priority than reuniting hostages with their loved ones, – the White House said in a statement. – She also reaffirmed the United States' commitment to bringing home the remains of those whose tragic deaths have been confirmed.The Vice President reiterated her condemnation of Hamas as a brutal terrorist organization and reaffirmed that the threat Hamas poses to Israel must be eliminated, the White House indicated. She also condemned the rise in anti-Semitism around the world.

"The Vice President expressed her continued support for these families, and they spoke of the suffering and pain they have been experiencing over the past six months.&ndash ; the statement says. – The Vice President told them that they and their loved ones remain at the forefront of her mind and in her prayers as the Biden-Harris Administration seeks the release of all hostages."
