Political prisoner Alexander Kulinich died in a Belarusian pre-trial detention center

Reserve lieutenant colonel, political prisoner Alexander Kulinich died in the pre-trial detention center of the Belarusian city of Brest.

It is reported that he did not live two days before his 52nd birthday. According to the official version, the prisoner died of coronary heart disease.

Kulinich was detained on February 29 in Brest on charges of insulting Alexander Lukashenko. It is also known that he opposed military aggression against Ukraine, in particular against the participation of Belarus in it, and supported volunteers fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The trial of Alexander Kulinich was supposed to begin on April 16.

The Sota Telegram channel notes that since 2020, since the start of mass repressions in Belarus, at least ten political prisoners have already died in the country’s prisons.
