The star of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, who visited our country twice as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, admitted that he was impressed by the resilience and indomitability of Ukrainian children.
British actor Orlando Bloom shared his impressions on Instagram after his visit to Ukraine.
During his last visit to Ukraine, in March 2023, the actor met a girl. Then he talked with 8-year-old Milana, who was forced to flee from her native Irpen and her sister Alisa due to heavy shelling.
The girl received an injury that led to partial loss of vision. Despite the experience, she remains strong and believes in the best, which impressed the actor.

Despite this nightmare, she somehow managed to continue living the moments characteristic of childhood. our duty is to provide the children of Ukraine with a childhood that will give them hope and opportunities, the actor noted.
Currently, the girl attends UNICEF art therapy classes, which help her overcome traumatic memories.
