Mayor of the capital Vitaliy Klitschko congratulated the residents on Kyiv Day and published a touching video on his social networks. He showed the symbolic monuments that have been opened in the capital in recent years.

Kyiv – ancient and modern. We remember our history and try to perpetuate it. In recent years, we have opened many monuments in the capital – both dedicated to outstanding figures of Ukraine and symbolic for our city. The monument to the founders of Kyiv was also updated. But they installed the largest flagpole, on which the national flag of Ukraine always flies. I congratulate everyone on the birthday of our beloved city!
