Aircraft attack on Tatarstan: a drone strike hit the largest oil refinery and assembly plant of “Shahediv” (VIDEO)

This morning, April 2, unmanned aerial vehicles unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) hit the Shahed barrage munition assembly enterprise and an oil refinery in the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. Eyewitnesses shared the relevant footage online. This attack became the farthest from the borders of Ukraine — from the places of impact to the front line more than a thousand kilometers.

The war started by Vladimir Putin against Ukraine is boomeranging back to Russia. This time to Tatarstan. Around 6:00 a.m., explosions rang out in the republic. On the houses of the special economic zone “Alabuga” hit by a drone.

Against the background of the appearance of many videos, the head of Tatarstan Rustam Minikhanov had to confirm: UAVs attacked a number of enterprises and hostels in Yelabuz and Nizhnyokamsk, at least 5 people were injured. More about the consequences of a word. At the same time, even Russian pro-war Telegram channels wrote about significant damage. So, in Nizhnekamsk, the fifth largest oil refinery in the ranking was affected — “TANECO” Refinery. According to preliminary data, one installation (“column”) was disabled.

The likely target of the UAV in Yelabuz could be the “Shakhed” kamikaze drone assembly plant. Already in the summer of 2023, thanks to the investigation of the “Protocol” it became known that on the basis of the special economic zone “Alabuga” produce strike drones. Underage students of the local polytechnic institute are involved in the work.

“Now about a thousand people are studying at the polytechnic. Several hundred of them are already involved in the assembly of “Shaheeds”, which are supplied from Iran. First of all, the source claims, it is about boys aged 15 to 17 who entered college after the ninth grade of school. For the project of collecting “Shaheeds” now all possible forces are being thrown. Some productions are stopped, and some are completely liquidated”, — from the publication of the “Protocol”.

The locations of drone strikes are more than a thousand kilometers away from Ukraine. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Ukrainian Armed Forces) have models capable of covering even this distance.

“Most of the drones that attacked Russian refineries have a range from 700 to 1,000 kilometers, but now there are models that can fly more than 1,000 kilometers”, — said the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov.

In recent months, drones have been increasingly striking objects on the territory of Russia. Mostly oil refineries. More than 15 have already been damaged. According to Bloomberg, a series of attacks on Russian refineries led to a 21% reduction in diesel exports from the Russian Federation, as well as a 7.4% decrease in the country's production of automobile gasoline.
