Another suspect was detained in Tver in connection with the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. He turned out to be a citizen of Tajikistan. He is accused of fictitiously registering terrorist accomplices. The accused admitted his guilt. He has relatives living in Tajikistan, so the investigation asked for his arrest, fearing that he might escape. Earlier, 11 people were arrested in connection with the terrorist attack, 10 of whom turned out to be citizens of Tajikistan, reports Voice of America.

According to Temur Varka, a representative of the Tajik opposition abroad, for many Tajiks the only way to feed their families is to go to Russia to work. At the same time, the President of Tajikistan himself lives in grand style.

"Emomali Rahmon buys himself a plane that the President of Mexico cannot afford for one hundred million euros. He is selling this plane, saying that I cannot afford this, such luxury. And Emomali Rahmon – maybe,” Temur Varki does not hide his indignation.

American political scientist and expert on Central Asia Andrew Kuchins also speaks about the difficult economic situation in the region: "No jobs in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. But especially in Tajikistan, it is the poorest country in Central Asia. If these workers cannot come to Russia, what will they do in Tajikistan? I think there will be more opportunities for them to take the [path] of radicalism.”.
