Israel has called for new sanctions against Iran as part of retaliation against the Iranian military and some Tehran allies over the recent unprecedented attack on the Jewish state.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said on social media networks that he has asked more than 30 countries to impose sanctions against Iran's missile program and declare the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization, reports Voice of America.
USA – one of several countries that have already designated the IRGC a terrorist organization.
Since October last year, the United States has imposed several rounds of sanctions targeting Iran's ballistic missile program while UN sanctions expired.
