The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4685 mAh battery, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery.
Apple itself shared the results of the comparison of flagship smartphones during battery life. The Cupertino company claims that the iPhone 16 Pro Max works for 33 hours in video playback mode. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has two hours less – 31 hours. Thus, despite the smaller battery, the iPhone 16 Pro Max showed an advantage. Probably due to more competent software and OS tuning, as well as the energy-efficient A18 Pro chip.
However, the tests were conducted by Apple and only in one scenario. It is possible that in others the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have an advantage.
