In Kyiv, two employees of a charitable organization will be tried for selling cars imported as aid for the military

The Holosiivka District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has sent an indictment to the court against two people accused of selling humanitarian aid during martial law (Part 3 of Article 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, Part 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the founder of the charitable organization, together with its director, established a mechanism for selling passenger cars imported into the territory of Ukraine as humanitarian aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The imported cars were sold through advertisements on car sales platforms. After receiving the money, the car was transferred to the buyer, supposedly as humanitarian aid.

According to this scheme, the «philanthropists» sold 6 cars for almost 1 million hryvnias.

5 cars were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Currently, the indictment has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
