Chinese developers have presented three types of the latest combat marine drones

Chinese companies have begun the implementation of marine drones that can be converted for military purposes. According to OSINT-analyst HI Sutton, such devices are now available on Chinese marketplaces.

After the appearance in Ukraine of attack sea drones, Chinese manufacturers also began to offer their unmanned boats that can be adapted for combat operations. However, as the analyst notes, some of these proposals may turn out to be ineffective.

Examples of Chinese marine drones include USV-I6000 and USV-I4000 models from Wuhan Greenbay Marine Technology Co., Ltd.  The USV-I6000 drone has a length of 6 meters and is capable of carrying 200 kg of payload, and its engine — diesel. The USV-I4000 costs between $4,000 and $8,000 and can reach speeds of up to 27 knots.

Another model, the USV Type-001 from CETC Ningbo Maritime Electronics Co., Ltd., costs about $100&thinsp ;000 dollars. This drone is equipped with modern sensors and control system and is designed for maritime surveillance and patrolling. Another drone, the 7.5M USV from Shanghai Stong Industry Co., Ltd., is used for underwater surveillance and patroland its cost can be as high as $314 000.
