Zenek Martyniuk revealed the inside story of his meeting with Rafał Trzaskowski.

As the „Pomponik” portal reminds us, some time ago a recording with Zenek Martyniuk appeared on Rafał Trzaskowski's social media. The short video caused quite a stir. The musician probably didn't expect the video to spark such an avalanche of comments. Finally, the king of disco polo decided to speak out on the matter.

On Thursday, January 16, a recording appeared on Rafał Trzaskowski's social media, showing the presidential candidate in the company of Zenek Martyniuk. In the video, the gentlemen are having an exchange of words, which is taken from, among others, one of the Akcent leader's songs.

The recording caused quite a stir, mainly because the disco polo musician was associated with politicians from the other side of the political scene. When asked about the film, Rafał Trzaskowski said that “they were in the same place, in the same city, in Bielsko. It was hard not to meet.” He also added that Martyniuk is “a really nice person.”

Now the king of disco polo himself has decided to address the storm caused by the recording of Trzaskowski and Martyniuk. The musician revealed what their meeting looked like.

„On Thursday I was going to a concert and I got a call from someone from Rafał Trzaskowski's team – Mr. Michał – probably some advisor. He said that they were in my area and were going to Bielsk Podlaski, because they were in Łomża, then Zambrów and Wysokie Mazowieckie, and my hometown is 10 km from Bielsk Podlaski&ndquo; – he said in an interview with „Plejada” Martyniuk.

He added that they invited him to dinner, to which he replied that “that's great, because he's also going to dinner”. He added that Trzaskowski is “a cool person”, with whom he shares a love of Radio Trojka and Marek Niedźwiedzki's charts.

Martyniuk does not hide the fact that he does not understand the wave of criticism that has fallen on him after the recording appeared. “Previously, they wrote the other way around, i.e. it's both bad and not good. You can't please anyone. Everything is bad” the musician stated.
