Zbigniew Ziobro returns to politics. He claims that everything will change

Former Minister of Justice Zbigniew Ziobro, after a year of convalescence, returned to politics, announcing a new approach to the rule of law in Poland.

In an interview given on December 27 on „Gość Wydarzeń” on Polsat, Ziobro addressed the current political situation, emphasizing that he is currently perceived as a “dove,” in contrast to his previous image as a “hawk.”

A warning to the ruling coalition

Ziobro did not spare criticism of the ruling coalition, pointing out problems related to blocking the actions of judicial bodies. “This is not a normal country in which the executive power blocks the actions of judicial bodies– the former minister stated.

At the same time, he announced that after fulfilling the five conditions he indicated, he intends to „restore the rule of law” in Poland. In his opinion, it was Donald Tusk and Minister Bodnar who contributed to the violation of legality in the justice system.

When the five conditions he clearly specified are met, i.e. the legal activities of law enforcement agencies and the justice system, which Donald Tusk and Minister Bodnar criminally deprived of legality, are restored, the politician announced.

Poles against Romanowski's asylum?

In the last episode of the program hosted by Piotr Witwicki, the guest was Zbigniew Ziobro, former Minister of Justice, who referred to the results of the IBRiS poll. The data shows that 73.5% of Poles do not support Hungary granting Romanowski asylum. Ziobro expressed his belief that Poles may change their minds on this issue over time.

Judiciary reforms in Ziobro's plans

The host of the program asked Ziobro about any regrets related to the lack of implementation of the announced judicial reform during the United Right government. The former minister stated that he plans to take radical action when his group takes power again. He stressed that his views on judicial reforms have become more decisive in the face of the current situation in Poland, pointing to the need to restore the rule of law.

Ziobro's return to politics will certainly shake up the current political landscape, and his actions could have far-reaching consequences for the future of the justice system in Poland.
