Woman exposed in Vinnytsia region for leaking information about Ukrainian Armed Forces deployment sites in Toretsk to the enemy

Under the procedural guidance of the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of the city Toretsk, Donetsk region, was reported on suspicion of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed for selfish motives.

According to the investigation, at the beginning of 2024, a woman who currently lives in Vinnytsia region, several times via messenger reported information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to a currently unidentified person.

The suspect informed about the location of Ukrainian checkpoints and the deployment of military equipment near critical infrastructure facilities in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. She received information from acquaintances who lived in this city.

Law enforcement officers exposed the suspect, and now, at the request of the prosecutor, the court has applied a preventive measure in the form of detention to her.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being carried out by the investigative department of the USBU in Vinnytsia region.
