Where and when to watch the new Dragon Ball Daima anime in France?

A little earlier in the month, we presented our selection of the most anticipated anime of fall 2024, among which we could notably find Dragon Ball Daima. And while many fans are more than impatient to discover the next anime of the cult franchise, we finally know on which platform we will be able to find the new adventures of Goku!

 

Excellent news for the next Dragon Ball Daima anime

Goku, Vegeta and all the other iconic Z Fighters from the Dragon Ball universe are about to make their big comeback on our screens in a brand new anime. Titled Dragon Ball Daima, it is an original story imagined by the late Akira Toriyama himself, the creator of the now cult saga.

And if we already knew that the release of Dragon Ball Daimais scheduled for October 11 in Japan, we still had no information regarding its release in France, both in terms of the date and the platform that would broadcast the anime, which was starting to worry more than one. And as the D-day approaches quickly, fans finally got the news that everyone was waiting for.

Indeed, Dragon Ball Daima will be available on the Animation Digital Network streaming platform (better known as ADN). In addition, the anime will be available in simulcast, meaning that subscribers will also be able to watch its launch from October 11, and that the following episodes should be available on the same day as their release in Japan.

Regarding the plot of Dragon Ball Daima, the anime is expected to take place between the events of the Majin Buu saga and the 2013 film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods. The official synopsis describes the story as follows:

Due to a conspiracy, Goku and his friends are reduced to a small size. In order to remedy this, they will travel to a new world! It is a great adventure with intense action in an unknown and mysterious world.

Also note that starting next month, the 18 Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z films will join the entire Dragon Ball series, already available on ADN. All the cult films of the franchise will then be available exclusively on the platform, and this in the original version with subtitles as well as in the French version.
