Mobile operator Vodafone has announced a change in the cost of the “Year without subscription fees” service for new connections in a number of tariffs – in particular Joyce Pro 2023, Vodafone Light+. The changes will take place on January 13 and will probably affect the total cost of tariffs – it is possible that they will become more expensive by UAH 40-60.

Vodafone reported on the change in the cost of the “Year without subscription fees” service. They noted that the tariffs in question are:

  • Vodafone Light+ – the cost will be 2,035 UAH per year;
  • Joice (2023) – 2,860 UAH per year;
  • Vodafone SuperNet Start 2023/Start+ – 2,600 UAH per year;
  • Joice Start 2023/Start Special – 2,860 UAH per year;
  • Joice Pro 2023 – 3,220 UAH per year;
  • Joice Max 2023 – 3,990 UAH per year.

For their part, the technical community of the telecommunications market MZU – Mobile Communications of Ukraine believes that the increase in the cost of the “Year without subscription fees” service will lead to a general increase in the cost of tariffs. In particular, according to their calculations:

  • Vodafone Light+ will increase in price by 40 UAH. – up to 185 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice – by 60 UAH., up to 260 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Start/Start Special 2023 – by 60 UAH, up to 260 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Pro 2023 – for 60 UAH, up to 320 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Max 2023 – for 60 UAH, up to 390 UAH/4 weeks.

At the same time, it was noted there: the final cost of the tariffs will be announced by Vodafone itself. It is expected that this will happen after the new prices for “Year without subscription fees” come into force.

“The exact cost of the service package for 4 weeks and possible changes in the content of the service packages will be announced after 13.01.2025”, – the message says.
