Ukrainian engineers have presented a drone that has become a real breakthrough in military technology. The unique feature of the device is the use of fiber-optic cable. It allows the drone to remain «invisible» to enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems. It is reported that this drone is completely hidden in the radio spectrum, which makes it impossible to detect the launch site or operator. The technology has already successfully passed combat tests and is planned for mass use by the Ukrainian troops in 2025.

The drone is equipped with a 20-kilometer fiber-optic cable, which provides reliable communication and resistance to interference. It is capable of operating for up to 20 minutes at a speed of 60 km/h. The autonomous mode allows you to increase the flight duration to 46 minutes. The maximum payload is 5.5 kg.

The drone is designed to destroy fortifications, electronic warfare stations and enemy armored vehicles protected by electronic warfare means. In fact, this device paves the way for standard FPV drones, eliminating interference from enemy electronic warfare.

It is worth adding that the development costs about $ 1,800 per unit, which is much cheaper than Russian counterparts, the cost of which reaches $ 2,500. Ukraine has localized the production of up to 40% of drone components, the rest is imported, mainly from China.
