Brave1 participants have developed Ukrainian analogues of one of the most popular drones in the world, the DJI Mavic. Since June of this year, the team has been working on creating an unmanned aerial vehicle that meets NATO standards and is already actively used on the front.
Ukrainian models such as the Lens and Zoom from Frontline and «Shmavik» from «Reactive Drones», adapted to war conditions, equipped with’communication systems, resistant to enemy electronic warfare, automatic landings and «return home» modes.
In addition, a significant part of the components are manufactured by Ukrainian manufacturers, which helps reduce dependence on imported supplies. The military is already giving positive feedback about these drones, emphasizing their efficiency and reliability in combat conditions.
It is known that Mavic has become one of the main drones used on the front due to its simplicity, efficiency and relatively low price. However, due to difficulties with imports and high cost, the creation of a Ukrainian analogue has become critically important to support the war effort.
