Twilight of the Gods: discover the action-packed teaser for the new Netflix series

The love story between Netflix and Zack Snyder continues with Twilight of the Gods. The platform has just released the final trailer for Zack Snyder's new series, available on September 19. And it looks totally crazy!

What is Twilight of the Gods?

For a few years now, Zack Snyder has joined the Netflix stable. The famous director of 300has now worked almost exclusively with the platform since Army of the Dead in 2021. Since then, the filmmaker has worked on a series of projects at the famous company with the red N with his diptych Rebel Moon, and now with Twilight of the Gods.

Animated series expected on September 19, Twilight of the Gods develops a heroic world inspired by Norse mythology. The story follows Sigrid and Leif, a warrior couple who suffer the wrath of Thor. The prince of Asgard decides to send them on a mission of vengeance across incredible and particularly dangerous lands.

An explosive final trailer

As the release date draws closer, Netflix has decided to offer fans of Zack Snyder the final trailer for Twilight of the Gods. New images that highlight bloody clashes, and many characters such as Thor and Loki. We learn that Sigrid decides to ally herself with the God of Mischief (probably not her best idea). The superb animation, led by the Japanese style of the French animation company Xilam (I Lost My Body), promises a visual journey that should blow our retinas away. The series will also allow us to delve more intensely into Norse mythology, rather fashionable these days (thanks Marvel).

We hope that Twilight of the Gods will reconcile fans with the cinema of Zack Snyder, whose diptych Rebel Moon has largely dçes its viewers. In addition to Zack Snyder, the series is also directed by Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco. In terms of voice casting, we can notably highlight the presence of Corey Stoll, Peter Stormare, Sylvia Hoeks and Stuart Martin. We'll see you on September 19.
